First time on a board for a few years, pretty much fell off lift. Took about half the first run to get the skills back and then started having a wicked time. Took a few nasty tumbles catching the wrong edge on the flat sections. Ankles began aching about 2 hours in.
2 hours later I'd happily have an epidural to cure the pain my ankles are in.
Fell off every single drag lift I went near.... managed to get board stuck in a frozen 10" deep footprint whilst getting on chairlift, which lifted me straight out of the seat a pivoted me head first into the snow in full view of an appretiatively amused lift queue. Very embarrassing!
Finished the day feeling sore and a bit demoralised.
